Engineering is the profession that connects knowledge to basic sciences (Mathematics-Physics-Chemistry…etc), beside the acquired knowledge through studying engineering, experience and practice in order to develop and create methods, approaches, machines and sets to perfectly use the materials, the resources and the powers of the environmental to benefit the society. Therefore, the Faculty of Engineering, through its scientific departments that cover most of the specializations needed for work market, wants to achieve the following aims:

  1. Using all Faculty facilities to teach students the basics and technologies of engineering sciences and to provide them with the necessary skills to perform their future practical roles by using all the new in their specialization.
  2. Preparing a graduate able to apply engineering sciences and its methods in the practical life.
  3. Presenting a graduate who is capable of taking decisions and control crisis.
  4. Preparing a graduate knows the recent technology and informatics and how to deal with them.
  5. Preparing a graduate who is able to compete in work market under the new and changing circumstances of the international world.
  6. Preparing a graduate able to learn new technologies.
  7. Supporting and providing postgraduate students with various facilities to understand the new concepts to develop and create new methods and to expand the basic knowledge.
  8. Providing government, factories, local society with all the new and the developing plans in the country in engineering majors to benefit development plans in the country in general and in the Gulf region, red sea and Sinai and Suez Canal in particular.
  9. The Faculty of Engineering professionals introduce counseling and experiences to companies, factories at industrial district in the north south of Suez Gulf, red sea, Sinai and Suez Canal in particular and Egypt in general to solve a lot of applied problems in the fields of Engineering.
  10. Training technical and engineering professionals in country and society sectors to develop their performance and improve it.
  11. The inner and outer communications with the newest studies, researches and engineering creations through participating in international and national conferences and introducing workshops, conferences and meetings in the faculty.
  12. Experience and benefit exchange through making agreements with practiced and scientific organizations on the local and international level.
  13. Participating in developing and maintaining the University and its faculties and buildings.
  14. Participating in pushing production wheel using recent methods and technologies on the university levels and on the country levels.
