College Girl Olympics Started in Luxor with Suez University’s Participation

Today, the events of College Female Students' Olympics’ contests started in Luxor under the patronage of Professor Ashraf Sobhi, Minister of Youth and Sports, with the participation of delegates from 24 Egyptian universities. Suez University has participated in futsal, volleyball, ping-pong, and athletics game events of the Olympics.

University president Professor Al Sayyed El Sharkawi has stated that the university’s keenness on students participation springs from its firm belief in the role such events play in building student’s personality, acquiring variant skills and abilities, and discovering talents. The president added tha Suez University’s ranking as 2nd best Egyptian university in student activities proves our sound thinking. It should be noted that the contests’ events will come to an end on 19th of November.

Announcing higher education students' application for IPHES project - the third session

The Excellence Support Unit, a subdivision of the development projects administration at the ministry of higher education, announces the final version of the application form for the third session of the innovative projects for higher education students via the unit website http://heep.edu.eg. This project aims at supporting innovative ideas and initiatives offered by the students that contribute to solving the social problems and supporting the national economy.

The higher Education Development Projects Management Unit is pleased to announce receiving project proposals no later than 30/11/2020, in accordance with following instructions:

– Each university submits by no more than 10 projects from different science sectors in light of the priorities of each university

– Project execution time is a maximum of 6 months

– One of the project outputs must include applying for an international award, patent – or International publication.

The project's maximum budget is 75.000 LE; the university provides the facilities and materials needed to carry out the activities, as well as consumed requirements ( e.g., cartridge - paper – printing, etc.)

The university media center has been tracking the daily activities of new students enrolled in the faculty of physical education this year : flag salutation, the receiving faculty instructions , practical and theoretical activities. Students were pleased with the Suez University's efforts to accelerate the process of enrollment, which saved them hardships of travelling to other universities.
