The Schedule and The Style of Hybrid Learning at Suez University

Suez University has started the academic year 2020/2021 taking a number of measures and procedures for protection against the newly emerging corona virus in compliance with Supreme Council of Universities meeting decisions on 14 October including the following.

  • Use the hybrid education (online learning-face to face) as a way of prevention from corona virus.
  • continue applying all the precautionary measures for protecting teaching staff, assistants, workers and students.
  • wear face masks.
  • provide thermometers for temperature check.
  • disallow campus entry without following these procedures.
  • penalize violators of protection instructions.
  • Keep safe social distances, in classrooms, routes and any campus spaces.

In light of the above guidelines, SU announces faculties class schedules according to the conditions and the requirements of each faculty to reduce campus crowededness for students, teaching staff and workers .

  • Faculty of Petroleum and Mining Engineering

The preparatory grade from section 1 to section 6 will attend on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, while section 7 to section 12 will attend on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The other grades will attend as follows:

  • The department of petroleum engineering-chemical and refinery engineering-Geo-engineering will attend on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
  • The department of exploration and production engineering-metallurgical and material engineering-mines engineering will attend on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Faculty of Education
  • Science departments: Sunday and Monday.
  • Literary departments: Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • The educational departments: Saturday and Thursday.
  • Faculty of commerce
  • The first grade will attend on Saturday, Sunday and Thursday. The second grade will attend on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The third grade will attend on Saturday, Sunday and Tuesday. The fourth grade (accounting) will attend on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. The fourth grade (management) will attend on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • English section (the first grade) will attend on Saturday, Monday and Thursday. The second grade on Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.
  • Faculty of Technology and Education.
  • The first and fourth year on Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
  • The second and third year on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
  • Faculty of Science
  • The first and third year on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday.
  • The second and fourth year on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Faculty of Arts
  • The first and the third year on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday
  • The second and fourth year on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Faculty of Fish Resources
  • The first and second level will attend from Saturday to Tuesday.
  • The third and fourth level from Monday to Thursday.
  • Faculty of Politics and Economics
  • The first level (general section) will attend on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • The second level (politics section) from Monday to Wednesday. The economics section from Tuesday to Thursday. The third level (politics and economics section) from Sunday to Tuesday. The fourth year (politics and economics section) from Monday to Wednesday.
  • English section:
  • The first and second year on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
  • The third year on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
  • Faculty of Computer and Information
  • The first and fourth year will attend on Saturday, Monday and Wednesday
  • The second and third year on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday.
  • Faculty of engineering
  • Preparatory section attends on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Mechanical and civil engineering first year on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday. Mechanical engineering second year on Sunday, Wednesday and Thursday. Civil engineering second year on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Faculty of medicine
  • The first level group A attends on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, while group B on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and there is an exchange between the two groups on Sunday and Wednesday.
  • The second level on Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • The third level is divided into three groups and each group attends only three days weekly.
  • Faculty of mass media and communication technology
  • The first year attends on Saturday, Sunday and Monday
  • The second year on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
  • The third year on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
  • The fourth year on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
  • Faculty of dentistry
  • The attendance is on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday
  • Nursing institute
  • The days of attendance are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday, so all the students should follow these instructions for the safety of all.
