Children’s University in Suez University Wins Second Prize in the 5th International Cairo Exhibition of Innovation
Children’s University in Suez University won the second prize in the 5th International Cairo Exhibition of Innovation held under the auspices of his highness President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Academy of Scientific Research and Technology announced at the conclusion of the 5th International Cairo Exhibition of Innovation, which was held in 8th and 9th of November 2018 at the Cairo International Fair Grounds in Nasr City, the names of the winners in all the innovative projects. This was announced in the presence of professor Khaled Abdel-Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education, professor Tareq Shawqy, Minister of Education, professor Hala Al-Saeed, Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, professor Mahmoud Saqr, Head of the Academy, professor Manal ‘Awad, Governor of Damietta and a group of ambassadors from China and Arab and African countries as well as a big number of investors, businessmen and bankers.
Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Al-Sayyed Abdel-Azim Al-Sharqawy, the University President, and Prof. Dr. Reham Hussein Salama, Head of the Children’s University, Suez University won the second prize in the innovative projects after accurate evaluation by two evaluation committees in a strong and fair competition among eleven Children’s Universities.
In this respect, the 14-year-old innovator child Marwan Zaki Zaki Sh’arawy, who is in his third year of preparatory school, won the second prize for his integrated farming project, which represents an eco-friendly model. The project aims at 1- using cost-effective fish farming method, 2- replacing chemical feed by natural one, 3- achieving environmental balance, 4- making full use of the farming system and 5- reducing coastal pollution (economically, environmentally and socially).
